Great cabins. The recent refit of Sapphire really makes it shine. This ship is a great choice for west coast cruises. Likes: food quality is fairly good. Great stewards and deck staff. Cabins are nice. Really liked the speciality restaurants, cafe and coffee bar, pools, deck chair options. Dislikes: spa staff; passenger demographic; art and boutique sales; performers.

This was our first cruise and thought it was very nice and everything went well. Enjoied the cruise experience very much.

The ship was amazingly clean and the service was superb. We really enjoyed the renovations that were done in Piazza area, especially Anthony's Pizza.

Really enjoyed the improvements to the ship in the piazza-especially the pizzeria.

The recently refurbished Sapphire Princess was beautiful. We had a nice mini-suite which was very comfortable with a balcony. Unfortunately the weather was so cold 3-4 days out of the 7 we didn't sit out on the balcony much but it was still nice to have the view outside our window. The entertainment was terrific. The food was marvelous. Our room steward Noel was very attentive and our dining room waiter Waldo was the best.

This ship was just OK compared to other Princess cruises. It was a bit lower in quality. For instance, there was no Crown Grill, just a "Sterling Steakhouse" which was a chained-off area of the Horizon buffet and had a sub-standard specialty menu. Also, the pool with the Movies Under the Stars was always crowded, as it didn't have the stadium-type seating that other ships have around that pool deck. But they did just rennovate to add the wine bar and coffee bar on Deck 5, which was nice, and the rooms were lovely and updated with new TVs. The crew was especially lovely, and very friendly to us and helpful with our baby.

Everyone was extremely polite, but at times it felt a little forced. The cruise was very nice but there was way too much attention on pushing alcohol even to the neglect of other passengers. They ship was beautiful and the room steward was excellent.

The cruise was enjoyable but there were many down side. There is no point in reducing the price of the cruise and then increasing the price on board. For example a class of white wine with tip was 9 bucks.the tours were over priced. While the food was okay there is a gradual deterioration in the quality.

Very clean; personable staff; great food

The ship was huge, clean and easy to navigate. My mother-in-law is 94 and uses a walker and she was able to go almost everywhere.

The ship was beautiful, the cabins and balconies a good size and the staff was EXCELLENT!!!

Great food, great staff, but limited access for handicapped guests. (I was traveling with a couple - one was not able to walk and required the use of his scooter to move about).

never being on a ship before, i highly rate this ship... it was more than i ever expected a ship to be...

The ship was very clean. The food was very good. Not enough hand sanitaion stations. The staff was always pleasant and polite. The shows were only average at best. The lounges and bars were only open at certain times as was the library. All in all, I would not travel Princess again.
