Review summary

Could be a better cruise if managed better. The staff did a good job of asking ppl to wash hands before entering dinning room but did not stop ppl from filling water bottles directly from the fountain. They only put up a sign “advising “ not to. Considering the spreading of the virus, it was worrisome.

Embarkation

The check-in agent was not properly trained. Did not have a clue on questions I asked. Kept asking colleagues what to do. SLOW and unnecessary.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Overall Fair. Also a hit or a miss. There were 2 days that the food was terrible in the dinning hall. Many ppl ended up order room service or hit the buffet after. Sometimes food was great. General rule, stay away from the Asian dishes.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Sea days were boring. It felt like bingo was the only activity. A good number of Pools. They were nice, not too overcrowded. except kids were jumping In and out of the the pool. Pool attendants didn’t care about enforcing rules.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The nightly show was repetitive for a 12 night cruise.

Children's Programs

Great staff. All of the were friendly and professional. My daughter had a great time.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
It’s a hit or a miss. Sometimes you get great staff, and sometimes you felt like an annoyance for asking them to work. Many staff seemed overworked and tired.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Common areas were well kept. Design was fine.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Worn out sofa. Room not very clean. Cabinets and balcony needed cleaning. Just needed attention to details. Decent size, big balcony. Good storage space

Ports of call

Phu My (Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam

1 out of 5
About 1.5 hour to city. Again not worth for the short time docked there. Don’t try to take a cab at port. All rip offs. Nothing near the port either. Closest town is not worth the time either.

Penang (Pulau Pinang), Malaysia

5 out of 5
Great port. Right at town centre.

Phuket, Thailand

Port Klang (Kuala Lumpur), Malaysia
