Review summary
Our first cruise with Princess, we normally go with Celebrity. I would try them again, but not on Sapphire. We’ve been spoiled by the glitz and glam of Celebrity ships and found her old fashioned (but comfy) and very, very cramped in all the main entertainment venues. It was difficult to get seats at any venue at any time - this could have been due to schedule or the passenger mix, of course. That said, if we were on a destination immersive cruise, she might be a good option. After a long day out, Sapphire would be a lovely, comforting ship to come back to. Ship tip
She’s a lovely, friendly, welcoming ship. I would recommend her for anyone looking for a comfortable, enjoyable cruise. If you’re looking for the wow factor and a glamorous, all singing and dancing trip, don’t choose this ship
