Nice ship. The ports on this itinerary were great.

Review summary
Very nice older ship, with a great crew and staff. Food in our opinion was 9 out of 10 stars for us. We did sign up for Anytime Dining and was somehow put in Traditional. When we showed up at the main Dining Room on the second day at 6:30 PM we were told we'd have to wait until 7:20 PM. That is when we found out about not getting Anytime Dining. They did "forget" two 70th Birthdays (that Costco requested and was on the Princess contract too). This wasn't a big concern for us really but wanted to mention that in case you may have someone that wants some attention. Suggest you remind staff in case they forget. Fewer children on this cruise than other lines. Shows, games, and other types of entertainment were great. Only exception to this was the Story of Rock. The sound from the band/instruments was so loud that it overpowered the singer. We could not understand most of what he sung, mainly because of the loud background music and the fact we were not familiar with the songs. This is not a negative on the performer but on the audio that drowned out the performer. Last full day of our cruise our ship was very rocky ...front to back as the weather and winds were strong. Captain slowed ship down to help alleviate the rocking and we ended up coming to our port 3 hours late. We definitely had fun and enjoyed our cruise in spite of a couple issues that we easily dealt with.Embarkation
