Embarkation was quick, no waiting and well informed along the way. It took less than 20 minutes from the terminal door to entrance into the ship!

MDR was used for most of the dinners. Otherwise, we went to the buffet for meals. We also went to the international Café a couple of times for breakfast. They always have a nice selection of tasty sandwiches and pastries. They also offer coffee which is very convenient to be right next to each other. The one thing I did not realize but was able to use the option with the plus package this time is that you can have a slice of one of the three layer cakes that is offered as a premium dessert.

This time around. It was just too cool on the deck for the pool. We did not make you sub the solarium, unfortunately.

We were very happy with the presence of the ships waiters and bartenders, very friendly and made excellent drinks! They were always available to get you something, whatever you might need. Our room steward, Charlie, was such a kind and friendly gentleman.

Although it’s an older ship, it is a beautiful, traditional look. Very clean and noticed staff every day, always wiping down areas.

Bed and pillows were very comfortable! Being in an inside cabin, naturally it’s dark and easy to sleep your day away if you don’t set an alarm! The only complaint I had about the cabin was that the shower was so small!! And, I would’ve preferred a door to the shower versus a curtain that you had to be mindful to keep it inside the shower or your floor would be get wet!
Ship tip
Enjoy all the areas of the ship! There’s so many great places to just sit, relax and people watch
No excursion. We stayed at a nearby hotel the night before the cruise and the day after the cruise. We walked to fisherman‘s wharf where there are many attractions and saw Alcatraz from afar. Also, a big highlight of our trip was to go under the Golden Gate Bridge at the start of our cruise….awesome!
What a beautiful town this place is. We would definitely go back and visit here. We did take the Princess narrated trolley ride, which was about an hour and a half. Our driver pointed out points of interest and we stopped at the Mission for a little while. Then we had time on our own to walk through the town and Sterns wharf.
We did the Princess Star Trek excursion and really enjoyed it! Our driver DJ was very funny and made the trip memorable. He drove up Mulholland Dr., saw celebrity homes, Rodeo Dr., etc. it was very exciting.
Did not care for this port. Lots of vendors selling a lot of the same items. Not much to see. This would be a port that I would probably stay on the ship if it happened to be on an itinerary again.
Disembarkation was delayed by approximately three hours due to adverse weather conditions. Luckily it did not affect our flight plans, but for those that we’re leaving the same day, I heard it was quite upsetting.
