Overall we had a great time. We got lucky with great weather. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. All of our excursions were interesting and the tour guides were great. 👍🏻 We will consider another journey by ship.

Food and Dining

Dining rooms and staff were very accommodating. The food was tasty but a little bland for our taste.
Onboard Activities

We found the Spa, photo events, and lobby music to be very appealing. Didn’t utlize the half of the things going on because they were to many.
Entertainment

We found the musicians/DJs to be talented and played/sang good tunes.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Overall the staff was great. With exception to bar staff tended to be lacking in customer service skills. When you sat down in a bar area the staff/bartenders didn’t even acknowledge you were there they would look at you then walk away. Either you had to go to the bar or flag down someone to get a drink. I’m not sure but maybe that’s their way to control how much you drink.
Ship Quality

Everything was very clean and well maintained it was a little confusing as to which elevator to get on between Aft and forward.
Cabin / Stateroom

We found our balcony cabin to be of adequate size. The closet was large enough for our things with plenty of other storage. The balcony was large enough for two people. Beds were very comfortable.
We did an excursion (Mendenhal Float). It was fun and beautiful. Did a little shopping in port but we didn’t get to spend enough time in the town it self because we were exhausted (oldies) so we went back to the ship. The jewelry vendors were a little pushy.
Loved this port it’s a very quaint town with lots of shopping. We tried the Fry Bread and it was delicious (best food on the trip). Did White Pass Summit and Yukon Suspension Bridge excursion it was very interesting and beautiful. We saw two bears one Black bear and one Brown Black Bear. The guide was kind enough to drop us in town instead of going back to the ship and catching a bus back to town. Where we went to a local bar for snacks and drinks. The staff there was very friendly.
This is a great port also kinda windy and warm. We did a whale watching excursion it was a little disappointing no fault of the Captain or his Assistant. We did see a whale and her calf but they weren’t in a performance mood. We only saw their back when they came up for air. To makeup for the lack of whale viewing the captain took us to an area where there was an eagle nest and through out heron and the eagles came from all directions to feed on the heron.
