Ship Quality

Everything was kept very clean and organized, but the layout didn’t flow very well. Having to go down a deck and then back up is confusing.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our steward was great, and the cabin was kept immaculate. The only complaint that I have is the motion light in the closet area malfunctioned and began to blink rapidly like a strobe light, right after we got there. It was very disturbing, as it never shut off. When I complained to the front desk, instead of fixing the problem, they sent a guy who used scotch tape to attach a piece of newspaper around the light. Not inly did it not adequately cover the light, this left us with no light in the closet area. I called several times, only to be blown off with promises of an electrician to fix this. Never happened. So all night long, every night, this light blinked rapidly. For the money we forked out for this cruise, this problem should have been fixed on day one. Also, only one chair in the room was provided for 2 people.

Ship tip

Make sure you go early to shows and dining

Glad you had a wonderful cruise to Alaska! Agree, the closet light should have been fixed properly and promptly. Thank you for your review.

Oh my God ! I can understand the light problem, I don’t think I could sleep with that strobing- to bad they didn’t just take the bulb out. You could have opened the bathroom door for light . Anyway I’m glad you had a good trip and thanks for the review.
