Embarkation

boarded ship in 30 minutes

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Food in main dining room was average and service was excellent. However, buffet food was somewhat inferior. Breakfast buffet foods were o.k., however, lunch and dinner buffet foods were inferior. Food was cold, not tasty and you had little choices

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Outside temperature was very cool, therefore, not involved with outside activities. Went on excursions. Many inside activities held in atrium. The atrium is too small for number of people they may have wanted to attend as there was little seating or you could not see. Also, some of the atrium activities only lasted for 30 minutes which was not worth your time to attend when you had to wait long for an elevator, try to find a seat, etc.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Entertainment was not the best. Jeanne was the best singer for our 2 week cruise. They had two comedians that were also great. Rest of shows were not good.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Service in main dining room was excellent. Although we had the soda package, the bar staff was courteous. They waited on us promptly and remembered our names. We had some concerns with our room steward. On the average, cabin was not cleaned until 12:00-1:00 noon. After cleaning our cabin each day, the cabin steward would return an hour later to fill our ice bucket, bring face cloths. Many times, we were preparing for afternoon activities or resting from morning activities (UGH!!!)

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Seemed to spend a lot time waiting on elevators. Easy to learn way around. Also, most areas of ship too cold. Many people walking around ship in sweaters, hoodies, coats.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
Cabin bathroom waaay too small. Only one chair in room. No sofa. No coffee pot. If both wanted to watch TV, one of you had to sit on bed. AWFUL!!!! Balcony size was great.

Ship tip
