Review summary

This was a perfect getaway for my husband and I to celebrate 10 years of marriage. We left the kids with grandma and grandpa and enjoyed 5 days of relation, wonderful food, fun entertainment and top notch service. We tried a cruise with another cruise line and this one was much more our style and our speed. We loved our cruise and will definitely be cruising with princess again!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
The staff have the embarkation process down to a sicence and it ran like a well oiled machine.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was excellent (we have been underwhelemed by cruise food before). We enjoyed the service in both the dining room and the buffet. The staff was incredibly courteous and pleasant.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There were plenty of hot tubs and pools to keep everyone busy. We enjoyed walking the promenade deck and relaxing and reading on the upper decks.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We really really really enjoyed the Walker Black Duo. We got to be cruise groopies and listened to them every night. We also thought the entertainment in the main theatre was excellent.

Children's Programs

we did not use the children's program

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff seemed to be happy and well treated (which is important to us). They were very polite and friendly. Everything on the ship was clean and well attended to.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Really enjoyed this ship. We thought it was spacious enough to have a variety of things to do and see but wasn't overwhelming with how large it was. It was very clean and seemed modern and upscale.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was clean and comfortable. The bed was divine and the pillows were amazing! We didn't mind the interior room and found the room to be very thoughtfully laid out.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

4 out of 5
Port was fine. Nothing special about it but nothing to take away from it either. It was fairly close to the airport.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

4 out of 5
Beautiful port with wonderful sea life. We had a pretty nice experience until the sun went down and then we were offered drugs about every 3 minutes by the locals. We enjoyed snorkeling and seeing the local sites during the day.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very smooth and quick.
