Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was good, nothing outstanding. Crown Grill was outstanding and well worth the price. Ribeye's were excellent. Main Dining room was okay. Horizon Buffet was a good change but tended to get overly crowded at times. Pizza and Burger & Hot Dog Grill were very good, especially when watching movies under the stars.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Enjoyed the trivia games and bingo during the sea days. Both hosts were very entertaining.

4 out of 5
Saw only the comedy show which was quite good. Atrium musicians were good also, but nothing outstanding.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was very professional and attentive. Friendly throughout the cruise.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Good layout, although getting to the 18th deck aft of the ship was quite a challenge. Not much signage for directions from lower decks.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Forward of the ship, very very quiet cabin. Comfortable, clean and adequate for two. Loved the fact there was a variety of movies, TV shows, programs, and information channels on a big screen TV. Live TV was a plus.

Ship tip

Do a specialty dining at least once.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

4 out of 5
Little confusing getting to the port from the 110. We could see the ship but the exit was not very well posted.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

4 out of 5
Much better then expected. The Cabo by land and sea tour was a disappointment. Given a food and drink voucher, but no food served. The restaurant was closed when we got there. Spent 25 minutes there, receive a soft drink or a 7oz beer. The Glass blowing factory was a 30 min stop. Catamaran cruise lasted 45 minutes - out to the Arches and turn around. Narration by Jean-Michel Cousteau could not be heard, boat was to noisy.

5 out of 5
Out of the room and through immigration in 20 minutes. Very fast and efficient.
