Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Nothing special. The buffet was very small and the selections weren't that great. In addition, it closed at 11PM. Main dining was somewhat better, but our first night took 2.5 hours to finish dinner. The best food was the Salty Dog Gastropub.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We enjoyed the trivia and games. The karaoke sound was poor and song selection was lacking.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Hot Funk Party Band was just OK. The piano vocal duo in the Wheelhouse - the pianist was good. The vocalist sat on a stool and never looked up from her music stand. A.J. Jamal comedian and the Mariachi Band were great!

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Room steward - we never received ice in our room, nor did we have robes as requested online before the cruise. Wait staff in the main dining room our first night was extremely slow Wait staff in the bars - it took a very long time to get a drink

Ports of call

Santa Barbara, California

We did not do any planned excursions. Other than wine and shopping, not too much to do in Santa Barbara.

Ensenada, Mexico

We did not do an excursion. There is very very little to do in Ensenada.
