Joyous first visit to Hawaii

The Ruby Princess cruise director and staff were the best and really made this cruise exciting and fun. They always had something funny to say during the bingo and trivia game events etc. that keep us laughing. The shows at night were all excellent including their major production events. The singers, impressionists and comedians were top notch. There was always a wide variety of events going on all the time.......there was something interesting for everyone all time. Our stateroom was very good overall. We had a kind hard-working room stewardess who kept it fresh and clean. The food overall was fair-good....similar dishes were served most of the time...the variety could have been better. The ship was always a bit too cold particularly in the lounges and dining areas. But overall, we had a great time and we would sail with Princess again.

Cabin / Stateroom
Stateroom was clean and comfortable. The towels however were old and should be thrown out as they cannot absorb any water after a shower or bath. Room service to order food was excellent...they were on time, food was hot and fresh....often much better than the buffets.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Ship Quality
Destinations and Excursions
Onboard Activities
Children's Programs
Entertainment
Excellent and worth every minute.
Service and Staff
Some of the waiters in the dining room were too business-like (not friendly at all) in their every day demeanor....something that typically occurs when gratuities are paid in advance and not awarded for their service.
