Review summary

Great time!

Food was a little under expectations (for example - surf & turf was steak and shrimp, not steak and lobster. No midnight chocolate buffet like Carnival has. The ice was cheap quality and the iced tea was weak),

Activities were varied and entertainment was better than average.

Excursion choices at the ports were better than on other cruise lines.

This was our third cruise, but the first one on Princess.

But we spent more time waiting for the shows (45 minutes) because of limited seating, than actual show time (usually 30 minutes)

Melvin and Francisco in the Bortacelli dining hall, and Darpan in the casino and he also served us in other locations like at the shows and on the Princess Cays island.

Cabin / Stateroom

Very enjoyable. Our first time with a balcony and the only way we will travel going forward. The staff were very attentive.

Ship tip

It takes a bit of getting used to - the elevators don't go to all floors in different areas of the ship. It can be confusing. The portraits were price-y, albeit good quality. Some excursions allowed for ZERO time to explore the island/port.
