Review summary
We had a mini-suite which was very pleasant and comfortable. Our room steward, Luis, was friendly and responded to our special requests with understanding and ease. The flexible dining option was wonderful. We ate by ourselves three nights, with other passengers for two nights which led to wonderful and lively conversations each night, and we ate at the buffet one night. The same menu options were available at all locations. The food quality and presentation was very good. The waiters were generally very friendly and conversed well in English in all cases. The crew was multinational, with name badges indicating their name and nationality, which was helpful and often led to conversations about their countries. The ports of call were all interesting. Princess Cay was a real treat and very relaxing, even to the very efficient, four line of service buffet lunch at the beach. We didn't book any cruise line excursions, preferring to make our own arrangements in each port. We did a private van tour on St, Maarten which covered all the important sites for only $25/person. We took a van taxi for $18 round trip/person on St. Thomas to Megans Bay and swam and snorkled there on the beautiful 3 mile beach. On Grand Turk we took a taxi to Cockburn Town for $10/person round trip. We met some wonderful merchants there, even one who attended Wilberforce college in Ohio. He introduced us to several family members, who we enjoyed meeting along with the wonderful young children of the town. We really enjoyed our cruise!Ship experiences

Ship tip
Explore the entire ship. There is an aft elevator hidden away which goes all the way to deck 19 for golf, BB, and a great observation deck. All the way forward on deck 14 there is a door that is not marked which leads to the observation area on top of the bridge. This area gives the best view along both sides of the ship, and of course a panoramic view forward.
