This was our 3rd cruise of the same itinerary but first on Royal Princess. This is a great, relaxing cruise with lots of sea days for rejuvenation! Remember to bring some clothes for chilly on-board sea days so you're not surprised.

Wow... embarkation was FAST! We never stopped moving in the line to get through security and to customer service! I think it was maybe 20 minutes before we were on the ship and ordering a pizza from Alfredos!

Everything was great with the exception of not having my preferred cognac for my after-dinner drink! A minor annoyance but when it's on the menu, I expect them to have it! Otherwise, no issues with any food or drink.

This is a more "senior" cruise experience, so we got what we expected. Always enjoyed the trivia, games, etc. that we went to. The staff works hard to keep folks entertained, and for that I am thankful! With 9 sea days, it's a challenge to keep everyone happy and entertained but the staff did a great job.

Great service received with no complaints other than some slow cocktail service via Medallion app. Room service too over an hour one day and food was cold by the time we received it. 2 other times, we ordered potato chips on the aft Terrace and they tried to deliver to our stateroom, even though the app said where we were. Not sure of the disconnect there!

Won our bid on an obscured balcony and this was a lightly obscured balcony. No issues except for a few maintenance items that need attention. Otherwise, very clean and comfortable. Beware the connecting door doesn't latch easily and the neighbor next door opened the connecting door and looked in at one point... that was a little disconcerting.
Ship tip
Don't bother with the calzone at Alfredo's ... stick with the pizza, which is great.
