It was one bad experience after another. one staff member telling us something different from another. things not working. our refrigerator didnt work from day 1 . we had to leave the outer door open day 5=6=7 just to keep our drinks cool. the rest of the survey says the rest. i took princess 15 years ago to alaska and was hoping for the same. was so disappointed.

Our waiter and assistant waiter in the main dining room were great except could not answer the question of our table reservation. At the buffet. coffee was usually cold, along with most food. Food was ok. All food was of average quality. Best food was the pizza. Sad but true. I complained at the front desk on day 2 and day 6 because my bathroom was flooding and my toilet smelled like something died. the flooding stopped but the smell never did. i asked to fill out a formal complaint and was denied stating i was going to be able to fill out a survey . i sure did. I booked a suite so these things would not happen. i broke my toe/foot on the first day due to uncontrolled children and staff had us running in different directions. No officers in white ever smiled or acknowledged anyone. Very disappointed.

Our robes were not present on check in and we only had 3 towels for 4 people. later i got soaked on my balcony by the room attendant who was washing the next rooms balcony and her just washed it over to ours and my socks were soaked. Our toilet was leaking which was fixed immediately but whatever died in it was not and we got sick of complaining.
Ship tip
Don't. If you do. don't get the soda package. its not worth it, and they make sure the ATM is broken and the only one that works is in the casino..lol..
It is getting really busy. 7 mile beach was once one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. while still nice, very congested. Took a taxi to the beach.
Why were you running in different directions on the first day? Did a child or staff member break your toe/foot? Sounds like your cruise was ruined on day one and your attempt to blame Princess staff is for your own satisfaction and perhaps unwarranted, as all other reviews are positive. We had a flood in our cabin on our last cruise and Princess staff were amazing.
I’ll be on the Royal Princess in Alaska in July. It sounds like the worst of it was a very smelly bathroom. That would tend to put a damper on the cruise! I’m wondering if they could have moved you to a different room. I would have asked. And you broke your foot. That’s too bad. Maybe your next cruise will be kinder to you!
I don't even recognize Royal Princess. Nothing like our cruise that was so enjoyable. BTW, you always have to ask to have robes, it's even mentioned on their website.
