Review summary

We enjoyed the ship immensely. We probably would rather stay out at sea the entire time than visit all the poor Caribbean islands. Must admit the boat and and the staff are great!

Embarkation

Perfect. Fast and easy

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Very nice but I would not pay extra for Club Class in the future. Saw no great benefit for the $300 per person upcharge.

Crown Grill

5 out of 5

Spectacular. Always worth the upcharge to dine in a beautiful venue with terrific food and service and the feeling of elegance. We ate here foutr times in a ten day cruise

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Used the gym, the walking/jogging track, the pool, the casino. They are all very well run and nice

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Stage shows were the best of our six Princess cruise experiences. The Piazza could be better and the night club should offer dancing all the time in the evening for 50 plus age group. This is the customer on these ships and there isn't a lot of places to hear "our music".

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
near perfect

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Excellent

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very clean and plenty large enough. Our steward Dennis was superb. He never interrupted or interfered with us at all in ten days. Did an excellent job!

Ship tip

The buffets are all good. Be careful here!

No excursion. Walked around port. A typical poor island with nothing to buy

Willemstad, Curacao

We did trolley. Horrible and expensive for what you visit. Walk instead. Nice island to walk

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Relatively simple. Not enough porters though
