Review summary

The boat is beautiful. Very stable hardly move during some heavy seas. The adult pool area is nice for getting away from kids in the main pool area. This ship has lots of room for sun bathing or shade for those that want to be up on deck but not cooked. The food was excellent in both the dining room or the buffet. The buffet area is large enough to accommodate everyone. We only sail with Princess so it is going to be hard going back to the smaller ships now. Also this was by far the easiest embarkation and disembarkation of any cruise we have taken.

Ship tip

Try and not use the mid-ship elevators, they are always packed and the stairs there only go to deck 7.

We have been on the Regal for a Mediterranean Cruise and enjoyed the ship as much as you did on the Royal. We have enjoyed a lot of the Princess ships. We live on the west coast and the Regal and Royal sail from Port Everglades. Easier to cruise from LA.
