Royal Princess February cruise

Sail Date: February 08, 2016

Reviewed: 9 months ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

This ship is beautiful, elegant atrium and so much activity within it.

We were on a seven day cruise with stops to Nassau, St Thomas and St Maartin.

Went anytime dining, which was not fun waiting in long lines...but we survived it.

Cabins were smaller than other ships and no center staircase, but that did not bother us. The adult only walk in pool in the serenity area on deck 17 was wonderful. Food was good in the dining room, desserts were sub par. Only three to choose from so half the time we left without dessert.

Cabin / Stateroom
Nice cabin, very small balcony and room was smaller than other ships.
Beds were comfy with great pillows!!! Yea no small thin ones.

Breakfast was so spread out on the lido deck.
By the time we found the eggs, our toast was cold and where was the butter, not close to the bread.

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida
Nassau, Bahamas
Stay on the ship. By the time you reach anything, it was time to come back.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Take a taxi to Megan's Bay, so much cheaper than the ships excursions. K
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Take a taxi to orient beach. So much cheaper than the ships excursion.

Tip

Anytime dining was the worse from any other ship. One side was reservations only, other side you wait. No signs. Our second day we were on the wrong side. Get up to the front and Mr. Martins and his sidekick ranted and raved because we were on the wrong side, and did not have reservations.
