I want half of my money back because I feel as though I got 1/2 of a cruise. Once on board, the captain did whatever he wanted by holding us on board when we should have been off of the boat at the different ports of call. We were rushed to get back on the ship when we were already late getting off of the ship. I may never travel with Holland America again.

Food was unseasonably. Steaks were tough, chicken over cooked. Bought the $49 Coke package and were only given WEAK fountain drinks, but the ad shows drinks in the can.

Soli was my Steward. He was EXCELLENT! Very nice and would clean my room in the morning and afternoon. He would speak to me by name and ask how I was doing every time he sw me in the hallway. He does his job over and above expectations. He needs a RAISE!

Loved the room. Very clean. The only problem was that I could not hear announcements inside the room. I had to open the door to hear from the hall. Please put instructions on TV as to how to hear messages inside the room
Ship tip
Do your research about the ship before you board. You are on your own once you get on.
Lost hours trying to get off of the ship. Itinerary said 10am til 9pm. We were not allowed off til noon, and had to be back on ship at 6pm. We were cheated again with time off of the ship.
The island was simply beautiful, but again, we could not get off of the ship til ~noon, and had to be back on the ship at 3:30. I feel as if half of my cruise was taken away from me with all of the delays to get off of the ship and the long, long, lines to get off of the ship.
Long, long, long lines. In one case we had to get in one long line to get a colored ticket, in order to get in another long line to get off of the ship.
Since you didn't expand on what happened on the ship I assume the problem was weather. That's your problem. Not the ship or Captain problem. On board activities your problem. I assume you like pool activities (belly flop contest) this cruise line is not for you. Try Carnival, MSC. You are in the minority when it comes to food on Celebrity Cruise Line. Thousands of other cruisers feel Celebrity have the best food in the cruise industry. I have a hard time believing all the shows were cancelled.
