It was a great cruise, with wonderful ports in Norway. The Rotterdam is is only about a year old, and it still looks new and exciting.

Food and Dining
Pinnacle Grill was an outstanding meal, otherwise fairly normal for Holland America. Dive In was a good addition for lunch.

Very good addition for lunch options, with burgers, brats, and chicken sandwiches.

Probably the best meal I have had on any ship during our 18 cruises. Good environment, great service, and wonderful food!

Somewhat limited activities on this ship.

Good but not great entertainment.

Room steward was outstanding, waiters were only average. Very friendly ship.

Very clean and very well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom
Nice balcony cabin, good location for access to different parts of the ship.
Ship tip
Crow's Nest is a great place to hang out, but it gets very crowded.

Ports of call
Beautiful city; only change the embarkation on Wednesday from Amsterdam for a Sunday cruise.
Most beautiful Norwegian scenery imaginable! Took the train up the mountain. Not a lot to do in the port itself.

Very smooth and quickly handled.
