Review summary

The only thing "luxury" was the price of the excursions which did not have any electronic communication between the guide and us so one had to be close to the guide to hear the commentary. There were even jewelry sales in the lobby like the large cruise ships. Port talks by the cruise director or outside experts were never done.

normal cruise ship veranda cabin, the bathroom was larger than most but it had a larger step up to enter.

Ship tip

don't, we got more information about ports from other ships that were in port at the same time than we got from the Riviera staff.

ship 'destination staff did not know the location of the train station relative to the ship.

We were dropped in the center of town without any information (map or directions), fortunately the Island Princess was also in port and arrived in the center at the same time so we got information from them.
