Review summary
Was so excited as we heard Oceania was a "Luxury" cruise. Staff unhelpful and cold. Anything you asked for was an issue. One day someone took the plant out of their room and put it in the hallway, it sat there all day, feel over and dirt all over the hallway from 8am to 7 pm until I finally went and got the concierge. Specialty restaurants food was amazing, service was awful except Toscana, they were great. Every restaurant we were seated and I had to get up after 5 minutes and ask for a waiter. Red Ginger we had a table reserved for 2, met some people asked to make it a 4 and request "denied". They all said we are very busy on 7 day sailings, then dont do 7 day sailings if you cant accommodate. One girl Ana who was a hostess in Jacques was a huge help. My wife had a diet request, upon boarding we asked for the restaurant manager twice or food and beverage, never called us. Asked Ana and she had it taken care of in 5 minutes. The food and beverage manager did call the second to last night after speaking with the concierege and his response was I didnt get any message and your request was taken care of so whats the problem????? Well it was the 5th day. The service didnt compare to Azamara or NCL in the Haven. I think Oceania does themselves a disservice and brings their brand down with this sailing. Everyones excuse is this is a short sailing and its the Caribbean so dont expect muchEmbarkation
