Small Ship and food availability you will lose weight

Rhapsody is a wonderful ship. We would not necessarily recommend it for families. There are no water slides and water parks that young children would like. The pool is adequate. Did not check out the teen center but walked past it one night and the teens appeared to be having fun, interacting well but not sure what else there was for them to do. The other cruisers on this ship were a more mature group. This cruise in late April would lend itself to the older cruiser.

Be prepared for poor food quality!

Be prepare to create your own eating style using the Windjammer Buffet initially, My Time Dining Reservations and be prepared to pay for room service, and the special restaurants to get consistent and average to above average consistently with the food.

If in an inside cabin bring a small personal fan to circulate air. It gets very stuffy.

Be ready to walk A lot in Europe. There is A LOT of walking in Barcelona, France, and Italy...but its worth it.

Do not do the excursions unless you talk to someone that is knowledgeable about what the excursion entails exactly!
