We enjoyed everything about the cruise very much. I would recommend to book your excursions directly with the ship. We booked with cruise.com, and had to take extra shuttles (extra charge) to the tour bus. Therefore we weren't able to go with the friends and relatives we were with. The reason for only 4 stars is that our suitcases were misplaced on the day of departure (we had booked a Seattle excursion before our flight back home) and we left w/o our luggage on a Friday. The luggage finally arrived the following Tuesday. Everything else was excellent, esp. the dining experience and the presentation.

all of the crew and staff were outstanding. We especially enjoyed the two evenings we dined in the Edelweiss and saw the tribute to the ship's waiters and cooks. They make the vacation because of their smiles and friendly service. Thank you for finding them.

Service was very good. Windjammer dining facility was too small and there was inadequate service centers per food item (2) and too few tables. Food was mediocre to poor. In the dining room several dishes were served that were not tasty. There was excessive use of a brown gravy that was not a product of the meat it covered, e.g., prime rib was tender and and would have been tasty without the gravy, If liquid was needed it should have been au jus from the cooking of the meat. Also the "veal T-bone steak" was a good piece of meat until ruined by the gravy. A good steak doesn't need gravy.. The gravy tste like it came from a can. The "chicken cardon bleu" was tough and tasteless. There was hardly any cheese. One person at my table had a leg bone in his serving. The "apple strudel" had great tasting filling but the pastry was like leather. I was disappointed that so much canned fruit was offered and limited fresh inseason fruit.

This was my 6th cruise, first with Royal Carribean. First cruise for my boyfriend. Alaska was just as everyone said-the best cruise ever! I was impressed with the quality of the food-both in the Main Dining Room and the Buffett. The food was excellent, the best I have had on a cruise ship. Shows were top notch. The staff was exceptional. Everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy their job, which you don't see in a lot of other ships. A little bumpy on Saturday, but that can be expected in the open sea! Had friends in Juneau who showed us around-was excited to see a black bear and her three cubs and the Mendenhall Glacier. Went on the White Pass and Yukon Route train ride in Skagway, a must when visiting the town. Butchart Gardens was the place to see in Victoria. Smooth trip back to Seattle. I would highly recommend Royal Caribean's trip to Alaska.

Although this was an older ship and not as deck out in its finery, it was a delightful trip! We took the Whale Watching Excursion in Juneau and the Train Trip Excursion up the mountain in Skagway. Although they had to convince the 6 of us that we each saw a whale on the whale watching trip, it was fun. But the train ride was great! The views were indescribible! The shows and activities on the ship were very good. We laughed so hard at some of the participation games - a great time. Always love Royal Caribbean trips!

Our cruise on Rhapsody of the Seas was greater than we expected. The food in the dining room was top notch plus the wait staff made our dining experience a lot of fun. However, the food in the buffet could have been more varied. Our steward made life easy and comfortable for us. He was always watching out for our best interests. For example, dining in the Princess dining room as not as good, but their buffet was much better. There was a much larger selection and it was not obvious that leftovers were not being used in the next day's dishes. As for the entertainment, we could not wait to get to the Royal Caribbean's theater to see some of the greatest entertainers we ever seen. The lectures by U. of Hawaii Professor Emeritus Gary Fuller were excellent would have liked a longer time frame for each of them. We would cruise again with Royal Caribbean in a heartbeat.

We always enjoy our Alaska cruises, and were excited to go again, on the Rhapsody of the Seas. Overall, it was a great trip! Weather was cold and rainy, but normal for Alaska! The weather \"lifted\" as we sailed into Endicott Arm, and our glacier experience was our favorite of any of our trips! Our dining experiences were great, and Royal Caribbean always does a great cruise! We love the Solarium.....casino was really poor!! OLD games, and not as much winning as we'd experienced several yrs. ago on the Rhapsody!! We also love the Solarium! We are Platinum level on Royal Caribbean, and have sailed many times w/them!! Always enjoy our cruises w/them!

The entire trip was great couldn't have asked fro anything any better. The food , service, staff and crew were supreb. Delightful time.

The cruise was very relaxing. It was an older crowd than I anticipated so all the activates were age appropriate. the excursions were very expensive. I took a train ride that cost $120. and it was not worth the cost.

Ship was similar to the Majesty of the Seas that I first went one. Boat is one of the smaller RCCL cruise ships, however the destination was spectactular which made it great.

I was very impressed with the whole ship, staff, and amenities.

The norovirus I suspect is more common than advertised. An ample supply of immodiam Ad or its generic equivilant should be maintained. The virus took a great deal out of what was an otherwise excellent vacation. The staff could not have performed better.

The plus was the sites. The ship was clean and stylish. The food was wonderful. The excursions through BJ's were not as good as I would have liked. The 3 day excursion package was not very good. The helicopter and train was wonderful. The coffee was terrible. I visited Starbucks on board every day just to get a good cup of coffee. The scenery was wonderful, and there are lots of places to sit and read a book and enjoy the mountains.

Geat ship - no complaints!

August is the perfect weather month for Alaska, I guess. Heard some disappointments about weather from friends who took this cruise in June and July, and they had tons of rain. It was perfect on our cruise though.

Our third cruise on RCL, and I dont think I will ever cruise on anyone else. The staff is great, and the wait staff/chef will make you anything you want, even if its not on the menu. Pool/Hot Tub was also well taken care of and clean. The Captain was also very good, taking us into the Eddington Arm Fjord to see Dawes Glacier - exceptional.
