Old ship, old activities, ports are what I expected. I have been on the Oasis of the Seas and I’m afraid this old and tired ship is no longer worth the money. Book the newest ships, you’ll be glad you did.

Old boat. We booked a suite in the back of the boat and had to move, the ship vibration was like being in a paint shaker 24x7. Chief engineer said it is how the ship is designed, Really???? Thank goodness they had a cabin to move us to in the mid-ship. Beware of the suites on the back of the ship.
Cabin / Stateroom

Awful, constant vibration, made my wife sick. We had to move to a different cabin.
Armed guards stopped our bus leaving the port, holy ..., don’t book the semi- sub excursion, total scam. Tiny bus, I mean tiny. Seven inch aisle to literally squeeze down. And then the guide highjacked 26 of us to an overpriced junk store that was not even part of the trip. Do not take this trip.
We did a transatlantic on Rhapsody last year. Purposely booked the cruise because it was an older, smaller ship without all the bells and whistles of the bigger ships. Had an excellent laid back vacation and excellent service all the way around. By the way, on every ship the cruise tends to be much smoother with a cabin near mid ships. Anything at the stern - the engine room is back there on many ships.... Big diesels and big generators... And you've got props back there on an older ship, so expect some vibration. The Rhapsody really was designed that way and built that way, launched in 1997. Anything near the bow you can expect to experience the rise and fall of the ocean as the ship traverses the waves. We'd cruise on Rhapsody again. She was awesome in the Mediterranean and crossing the Atlantic.
We were on the same cruise and had a wonderful time. You can't compare an older ship to a newer one. When you booked, you knew it didn't have as much to do. We had great experiences at all ports.
