Review summary

We really enjoyed the ship and the crew went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Specialty dining was a huge plus. Cozumel and Costa Maya aren't really our thing. Vendors are pushy in port and it's way too crowded in Costa Maya. We have been to both ports multiple times so we have already done the excursion there that we have wanted to do. We loved Belize and Honduras though and would like to return there.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It took us less than 10 minutes to clear security, get our seapass card, get on board, and sit down for lunch. We purchased the key program and it was worth every penny.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining room was good as usual, the windjammer was just ok. Gave this a high review because we are at Chef's table (spectacular) and Chops Grill, and Giovanni. First time at the specialty restaurants and they were amazing.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5

Entertainment

3 out of 5
There was the usual activities, trivia, bingo, wine tasting. Nothing out of the ordinary. But we prefer classic cruising. Playing cards, reading, or just taking the time to reconnect with each other. So in all fairness we didn't partake in many of the events offered

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was great. Cabin attendants were spot on. Room was always clean and Ricky always made sure we had fresh ice and clean wine glasses in our room for the evening. By the 3red night the bartenders knew us and were already anticipating making us our favorite drinks.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship was very clean and the layout dispersed the passengers around the ship so it never seemed crowded

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Older ship, but we had enough space for the two of us and having a balcony provided some great views. Plus we loved having breakfast out on the balcony

Ship tip

If your looking for a huge modern ship with water slides, go karts, ice rink etc..... this is not the ship for you. If you are looking for some quiet time to relax, read a book or meet new and interesting people. This ship is a great choice.

Disembarkation

Once again the key program gave us priority disembarking so we got off quick right after a steak and egg breakfast in the main dining room.
