Review summary

Overall this was a great cruise. This is the second time doing the Transatlantic crossing. I love the relaxing sea days (9 of them on this cruise). Can't wait to book my next one.

Onboard Activities

Sometimes difficult to find a quiet area to read. The "library" is in the open and always lots of traffic in the area. Would have appreciated more card/board games be available so if you like this sort of thong bring your own along with you.

Service and Staff

Staff were very attentive, always cheerful and eager to help.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Good sized ship. I believe there were 1900 passengers on board. Very clean throughout.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Mattress was too firm, felt like sleeping on concrete. No fridge in this cabin and only one chair. Good for a solo cruiser but not sure where a second person would have sat.

Ship tip

Purchase a "coffee" card if you really appreciate a good cup of coffee, the dining room coffee was "okay" at best

Ports of call

Lanzarote, Canary Islands

Rode the camels and visited fire mountain. Buy the wine on this island if you like like it, difficult to find anywhere else.

Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, Canary Islands

Took a taxi into town, 7euros each way. Much better than hanging around the port. Toured around on our own.

Santa Cruz De La Palma, Canary Islands

Very quaint. Lots of locals in this area- stop at the bakery. I promise you will not be disappointed!

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

4 out of 5
Lunch was the best part the burgers and jerk chicken are both very good. Lots of lounge chairs. I believe there were anout 6,000 passengers visiting in total while we were there. Lunch at the buffet finishes at 3pm (1/2 hour earlier than on the ship). We were disappointed when we went back for brownies and they were closed.

Disembarkation

Arrive at port 3hrs later than expected. Once cleared we walked off with our own luggage and the process was very quick.
