Overall, I was disappointed in RC but the ports were pretty amazing and we made the best of it. We never complained and it really didn’t mess up our trip. The only reason I’m even writing the review is because all the reviews I read about it were glowing and that’s how I picked this cruise. So I wanted to leave my honest opinion in case others are doing the same thing.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
It was pretty smooth!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Chops was ok. Slow service but they were working hard. Maybe understaffed? My steak was good but one of our friends got the Porterhouse and it had so much fat and gristle he could hardly eat it.
Main dining room food was not good at all, and I can usually find something good all the time!
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Weather was too cool for the outdoor pool. We did the art auction the last day and enjoyed that.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
I didn’t see all the shows but enjoyed the ones I did. The others in our group said they were all very good!
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Most were very good. There were a couple in the main dining room that were very short but like I said before, I think they were overworked and exhausted.

Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Cabin was good! We had an aft balcony and had room for 4 of us. It was tight at night but we managed. Our room steward, Ida, was absolutely amazing!! He went above and beyond all expectations!
Ship tip
While the ship was dated, for a small, older ship, she was ok. The entertainment was really good. The only complaint was the food and the long waits. So be as patient as you can. They were all working very hard, I just think they were short handed for some reason.
We had a beach tour that was awful! We had them bring us back and will be getting a refund. We then shopped a bit in town where we docked and had a nice lunch on the water by the ship. Wouldn’t want to go back there.
Very disappointed just because of the food? Everything else you wrote shows that you had a good cruise. Rhapsody is a small ship so you won't get the same experience that you would on a newer ship.
