Review summary
One thing I will say for royal Caribbean is they know how to hire the right people. Our servers, housekeeping, and almost everyone working on the ship were wonderful. The boat itself was a smaller cruise liner, so the rocking of the boat was felt 24/7. I wouldn't have minded so much, but all the indoor decks near the windows creaked with the swaying, making it hard to relax or concentrate. The nightly show was enjoyable for the most part, but subpar for other cruises I've been on. The activities on board weren't great for a married couple in their 20s, but seemed geared more for the elderly. I like that the dinner setup encourages diners to be social, but I did find that the food was not quite as good as on other ships. The gluten free options also were lacking, and a few were marked incorrectly (I.e. Baked Alaska said there was a gluten free option when there wasn't. This was not the only dish this happened with.) we still had a lot of fun, but I would not call this ship above average.
