Review summary

This was our first cruise. From booking the cruise online until the day we departed the ship, we had nothing but positive experiences. Everyone associated with the cruise line was very, very helpful and the staff on the ship were absolutely professional and friendly. I found the ship to be beautiful (we sailed on the Rhapsody of the Seas) and was surprised at the elegance of every part of the ship we were on. Our expectations were more than met, and we plan to take many more cruises on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. I must mention that the food was fabulous, from the dining room to the Windjammer. We plan on recommending this cruise line to all of our friends and family. Thank you so much for memories of a lifetime!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was fabulous. We had absolutely no complaint, no matter where we ate on the ship.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
There was something for everyone on this ship, at all times. World class.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We cannot say enough about the staff. Everyone made us feel pampered and like royalty. Our waiters in the dining room are the best to be found anywhere. The crew that helped us off and on the ship were professional and polite and very friendly. The staff is one of the most positive aspects of the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Rhapsody of the Seas was elegance everywhere you looked. It was very easy to navigate, it was usually a very short waiting time at the elevators, as there were plenty of them to accomodate the number of passengers. The pool deck was so much fun! A must cruise for anyone

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Stateroom was adequate in size, the shower worked much better than we expected and our stateroom attendant spoiled us rotten!

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Our excursion was cancelled due to choppy water conditions, but there was plenty of others offering to let us go on theirs.
Don't Miss: The shopping was the best.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

3 out of 5
The tour excursion through the fern gully and Shaw gardens was great. We were a little disappointed that our excursion included a visit to margaritaville, and we were not taken there. We found the vendors to be a little overbearing, but overall, a good stop.
Don't Miss: Don't miss the Shaw Gardens. Beautiful!

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
We snorkeled here and shopped. It was just beautiful.
Don't Miss: The snorkeling

Pros: By far, the staff was the most positive aspect of our cruise. We felt like royalty!

Cons: I wish the hot tubs would have been available until a later time.
