Regatta is a great ship. Being a luxury liner, it has all the amenities you would want. The inside passage is the best part of the cruise as we were able to see many land marks. The Narrows was the best part.
Embarkation

The luggage loading and embarkation process was very good. There was some initial confusion in checking us in, but overall very smooth
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food overall is top notch and presented well. The staff were very attentive. We liked the breakfast buffet, more than the sit-down breakfast in the Grand Dining room. The dinner in the Grand Dining room was splendid as was the service. The specialty restaurants, Toscana and Pollo Grill were both exquisite. The wine selection, if you order by the glass was ok (coming from California wine country, one becomes a bit more demanding of wine quality). On the last day, the Pollo Grill had freshly caught Halibut, which was fabulous. I enjoyed the Martini bar very much. The bar tender, Alvin, was very solicitous. Their selection of bourbon is not very good (mainly had Makers Mark), but the selection of other alcohol bases were quite good. The scotch selection in Pollo Grill was very good, but when we were anchored off Victoria, they could not serve the scotch in the restaurant for some reason. The Barista bar was always the busiest place. The coffees were good, but could be served a bit warmer.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
We used only the track for walking. It was crowded, but served the purpose of stretching our legs. It was too cold to use the pools.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The comedy shows were good. The music and dancing were so so. The Enrichment lectures by Ms. Massie were informative, but the tour guides for onshore excursions had the same information. The last talk on sea otters was the best.
Service and Staff

Top notch.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The public rest rooms were all clean. In the casino area, there is one small men's room - not sufficient. But you could walk to mid-ship and use the other men's rooms.
Cabin / Stateroom

Plan to do the same type cabin again. Very comfortable.
Ship tip
Being a smaller ship, it tends to roll a bit. We can feel the motion even after a few days. If you are even slightly prone to motion sickness, take dramamine patch.
Thanks for the review. I hope to take a luxury cruise someday. Did the ship actually roll while in the Inside Passage or just between Vancouver and Seattle?
