First time on the Regal. The ship is really worthy of her name. We typically travel not for the ports but just to sail. The Regal did have enough activities to satisfy everyone. We are already looking at the return trip back from Southampton to Galveston.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
As expected, the dining rooms served a variety of well prepared selections.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
One cabin mate used the adults only pool and enjoyed the experience. I used the fitness center and walking track. Both were well maintained.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Entertainment very good.
Children's Programs
No children in our group so I was not aware of the children's programs.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
We were treated like family by several of the waiters after multiple visits to their areas of the ships bars and restaurants. Our room steward was also very friendly.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Layout was good. Would have preferred more outside walking area. Buffet and port disembark area slippery. Several people (as well as myself) fell or had near falls in both locations.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Very well kept by our steward.
Ship tip
We purchased the princess premier after much debate. Considering the cost of specialty coffee, bottled water, internet, gratuities, drinks and specialty restaurants, it was worth the extra charge.
Good Friday..Shops closed at noon. Most of the excursions were "water" excursions. Not our thing so we did a self guided walking tour. Beautiful people there...
Third trip to Antigua. Nothing new but went back by Goldsmithy's in the market area. Although I didn't buy anything, always delighted to see their unique gold and silver jewelry.
We were the only ship in port that day. Took the water taxi to the main shopping area. Round trip $7. Our experience with prior excursions not good so none booked this trip.
