Review summary

I highly recommend a Princess cruise. It was our first time and we were pampered the whole time. We enjoyed the respect and maturity of the other passengers. It was a calmer and more refined experience than we previously had when sailing with Carnival. The medallion made the cruise so much easier (getting on and off the ship at each port, paying for items on the ship and in port, keeping track of friends and family, ordering food to be delivered to where you were, etc.) The day we got off the ship, we were already looking at options for our next Princess cruise.

Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Fantastic. They food was the best we have had on a cruise so far.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We loved the variety of activities. There was something for everyone.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We adored the game shows in the Princess Live theatre. Our cruise director Ali, was amazing! The assistant cruise directors were great too!

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
The kids had a blast in the kid and teen clubs. Our 8 and 13 year wanted to attend their club every time it was open, unless they had the option to swim. :)

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Five star service. We felt like we were in a high end hotel at all times.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship had lovely décor and it was easy to navigate. Everything was clean and in good condition.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was great. We regretted getting an obstructed view balcony, but that was on us. The room was a good size and very comfortable and clean.

Ship tip

Go to the Princess Live theatre game shows. They are the best. Check out the paper princess patter or the version on your app. It is helpful to plan your daily activities. The medallions were wonderful for keeping tabs on the location of your family and friends.

Disembarkation

It was fine. We did have to wait in line for longer than I thought necessary. Some people were getting disgruntled for waiting so long, or not getting to go when others were being released.

Agree with all your points about Princess. We love the Medallion too. I bet the staff likes Medallian too. No sea cards to hang onto. Glad you enjoyed your Princess cruise.
