For having an owners suite we thought there would be more personalized service. There was not. You are part of the herd. Even the concierge was not much help other than getting us another night at the Crown restaurant and early disembarkation (sort of).

Review summary

It was our first cruise on a non luxury line. Not worth getting an owners suite but it would be worth a balcony room. The Regal will be the largest size we cruise on.

Just because you book a nice room like an owners suite does not mean you will get more personalized service.

Did the Snuba. Wife and daughters loved it. Roatan is seriously 3rd world conditions but everyone seems happy and very friendly. Literally had a wild horse running down the road in downtown with traffic. LOL

They should mention what is actually included in each room tier. If you wanted a butler I’d imagine that is a higher tier.

Didn't you post another review on this same sailing? I remember a very similar review bashing Princess for not falling all over themselves to accommodate every last wish of the reviewer even though they were in the Owner's Suite. Like this one, they kept going on and on about being in THE OWNER'S SUITE. Was that you?

Overall you rated the cruise pretty high. Sounds like the main complaints stem from paying a lot for a room that didn’t include some special treatment you felt should be included. I will only be in a mini suite and don’t expect any special treatment so I should have a good time. Glad you made it through the whole cruise.
