Review summary

Seemed like they try to cut corners, which is something we have never seen on a cruise. I have 39 sailing days on princess, 63 days in Carnival, 14 days on Norwegian, 14 days on Royal Caribbean and 7 days on Costa. So I’m not new to this. Worst I’ve been on. Ports of call were good. Had never been to Bonaire or Curaçao. Boat was dirty. Way too many cruisers for the amount of staff. Good luck

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food is good in the dining room was excellent. Buffet was ok. The chop house was really tasty but they brought us one side to share amount 13 people. Seemed like they try to cut corners, which is something we have never seen on a cruise. I have 39 sailing days on princess, 63 days in Carnival, 14 days on Norwegian, 14 days on Royal Caribbean and 7 days on Costa. So I’m not new to this. Service on the entire boat was terrible. You will be standing in line a good part of your vacation.

Onboard Activities

Lame. Cruise director was terrible. By far worst that I have experienced. Hardly any entertainment by the pool other than movies. A band on the last day. DJ during the days. Movies at night. BORING! The center of the main pool area is a waste of space ropes off wafer feature that wasn’t working. Largest open space on the boat unusable. They used it for dancing on NYE.

Entertainment

The hired entertainers were good. Piano guy and guitar guy. Classical strings and a band mostly reggae. The cruise director and her group were not good. Karaoke is pretty much a bust with 1 hour sessions maybe every night with 4000 people on board get there early.

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
Get ready to wait for everything. I have always been served drinks by people. Don’t buy the premier package like I did. You will wait in line for your own drink. Very few wait staff dedicated to this. You would spend your time in line if you want to make the package worth it. Most ridiculous and frustrating cruise I’ve been on. Even dinner service took about 2 hours every night.

Ship Quality

Filthy. Men’s room by the pool was overflowing with human excrement. No staff wiping things down. I’m used to the staff disinfecting everything, stair rails, door knobs…. There was none of that. Bussed our own tables by the pool most of the time. I would have poured my own drink too but the 1.5 bartenders at each of the pool bars are working their butts off….. not enough for the massive amount of people on this boat. Poor guys

Cabin / Stateroom

Nothing fancy for a balcony. It’s a room. Good location for us midship deck 15. Saw the room steward 2 times in 8 days

Ship tip

You will wait for service. Too many people and not enough service. Seemed like they try to cut corners, which is something we have never seen on a cruise. I have 39 sailing days on princess, 63 days in Carnival, 14 days on Norwegian, 14 days on Royal Caribbean and 7 days on Costa. So I’m not new to this. Worst one I’ve been on.
