I think we covered it all with the questions and answered above. I wanted to get from Italy to Greece. This was a means of doing so and seeing some of Turkey and a couple of the Greek Islands.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
It was a little hectic. Much of the cruise line personnel gave out conflicting information and directions.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
I only attended the main buffet. It was available at all hours, which was good. There seemed to be a less Varity of food choices as were in pre Covd 19 cruises that I took. The service was excellent and the servers were very polite. I had spent the previous 10# days in Italy drinking excellent coffee. So, I found the cruise ship coffee offered at the buffet undrinkable. I was disappointed that you had to pay more for expresso, cappuccino, etc.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
I did not participate in many of these but they seemed plentiful. I have no reason to believe that they were not really good. I very much enjoyed watching the movies and entertainment provided on the big screen at the pool.
Entertainment
I did not go to any of these.
Children's Programs
I was not traveling with a chld.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
I though the staff did a really good job, especially my room steward. There was a problem my first day getting my TV to work the first day and he spent a lot of time with me (and reporting it ) trying to get it to work. Unfortunately, it took two trips to Cruise Services, waiting in very long lines, before it was finally resolved. Again, all the staff were very friendly and polite.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ship was very clean and well maintained. I never quite figured out the layout of the ship, but that was probably due to my shortcomings and not the ship's design.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
I was very satisfied with the comfort, size, cleanliness and everything about my cabin. As mentioned above I had spent the previous 10# days traveling in Italy and it was much better than any of the hotel rooms I had stayed in there. My only complaint was that it was an Aft cabin so I felt a little vibration from the engine. Princes chose he cabin for me.
Ship tip
Watch the Wake Up Show. The Cruise director did a fabulous job telling up what to expect in each port of call.
I traveled there by train from Rome the day before. The one day and night I spent there was pleasant. My hotel was an easy walk from the train station. For 3 euros I took a bus from the train station that took me right to the Regal Princes.
I just walked around town. It was fine. Getting off and on the ship was easy. Naples is infamous for its pick pockets. so I had been warned numerous times by all the Italians I had met to be extra careful with my belongings. The Wake Up Show also warned of the pick pockets.
No Excursion. I just walked around. It was educational. I had forgotten its religious significance. The locals were lively and fun. Again the Wake Up show was very accurate in telling us what to expect.
Again, no excursion. I was impressed with how modern the city was especially the fabulous cruise port. Watching the multitude of people fish off the bridge was my highlight there.
