Touring the Baltic's is really a treat. Getting to see 6 countries in one cruise is really something. The Regal Princess is a beautiful ship and one we love to on again. The ports were amazing and this should be a must cruise for those who want to explore Northern Europe.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Princess made it so easy. At the baggage claim area there were princess reps. As soon as we identified our baggage we brought it to an area and the next time we saw it it was in our cabin. At the port checkin was fast and efficient given the preregistration. We also took the princess transfer package from the airport which is why it was so smooth.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The Regal had lots of choices for dinning. We did not have a bad meal on our cruise. We did specialty dinning one evening at The Crown Grill which we thought was great. Good steak and amazing chocolate deserts that are not to be missed. The International Cafe was also a great place to pick up a sandwich or a great desert and some coffee.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
This was a heavy touring cruise so we did not do a great deal of aactivities . We did use the fitness center which was well equipped. Was odd to have to buy bottled water there though. A good water fountain would be appreciated.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
We enjoyed the entertainment a lot. Had a great magician on board and a juggler. Both very entertaining The musicians were great and were all over the ship. From string quartets to dance music and shows. The production shows were well done and the staging and sound system in the Princess Theature is outstanding.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
No complaints. The staff was there to please and make you feel welcome.
Ship Quality

Great ship. 4 years old and well kept. Everything was clean and felt fresh.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was perfect. Besides the bed and desk we had a couch and table. Plenty of room with a nice balcony. The bathroom was tiny but fine.
Ship tip
For a tour of the Baltic's I'd abuse looking beyond Princess for all your tours. We did our St Petersburgs tour for much less and saw more with an outside tour group. We also used them for Stockholm.
Beautiful city. We did a 5 hour tour that finished up around 2:30 giving us time to see The Bational Gallery and the Noble Peace Price museums on our own and walk around. Wish we had more time at the port.
This was one of our favorite ports. A great town just to walk around. The visitor centered offered free 2 hour walking tours at 10 and noon. Just just tipped the tour guide. Again I would loved more time to explore
More gold leaf than one can imagine. Amazing 2 days of touring which never seemed to be enough so much to see. We were also very lucky with the weather.
