A dream trip!!! Very special for me! The entire staff at princess worked tirelessly to ensure a wonderful travel experience. Everything was meticulously organized onboard ship. Extremely clean and deck planning completed to perfection. Traversing onboard was made simple thriugh good signage and elevator wait time was minimal. The entire experience rates an outstanding. The Captain and crew are to be commended. Well done!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Aside from the debacle we had on British airways cancelling their flight to Europe one day prior, maneuvering through Charles De Gaul Paris, France airport, and Princess asking us to handle the 3 hour conversation to coordinate our own travel arrangements when we paid Princess to secure air, embarkation with Princess staff on shipdeserves a 5 star--otherwise a zero rating for travel arrangers!

Food and Dining

The staff were superb - best to date. Food was exceptional although I think the soups were better on Carnival.

Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The design of the ship was fabulous - easy to find activities, dining room, specialty shops and I especially liked how every elevator had engraved markings to highlight each deck plan.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We had an inside cabin and I was surprised that it was roomy and sufficient space to offer a great vacation - I never felt cramped. I liked that the clothes closets didn't have doors - it made it easier to get clothes daily. Sufficient drawer space too.
Ship tip
Although I'm not a smoker, I found the people on deck 17 aft to be quite friendly. There was coffee available every morning for guests if you wanted to start your day with an early stroll.
I was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany in 1983 and visited East Berlin during the Cold War. I have not been back since 1985 when I left and so many things had changed. Many bitter sweet memories but the tour was awesome - the train ride was a bit long but worth the time spent in Berlin! Definitely a must see for those who never saw Berlin.
Perfect in every way until you get to the airport and then it's another Cluster - not the cruise lines fault. Just a disorganized airport with lost service. Princess had stellar buses to get us there - just local airport staff very disorganized. Be prepared to miss your flight if you are not there at least4 hours before flight--it took 3 hours to get through security. If you use special assistance they will get you to your gate in time to watch the doors shut on the aircraft! Very stressful.
