Review summary

This was our first transatlantic cruise.  We took it because we wanted to see Ireland and Scotland. This cruise not only stopped there but gave us some other wonderful ports at a reasonable price.

We did not book a hotel in Copenhagen through Princess (that is where the cruise started) and I waited too long so I had a lot of trouble getting a room.  There were two international conferences that weekend so everything was taken.  I recommend you book hotel rooms as soon as you book your cruise.  We also had a great aft balcony but if you get sea sick at all, stay mid ship.

Thank you for posting your review. We enjoyed our TA cruise east-to-west in 2015. It was Spring and we expected more churn in the sea but turned out ok. Didn't really matter because we were enjoying ourselves regardless. Happy sails!

We were on an 16 day transatlantic cruise that started in Fort Lauderdale in April 2012. The passengers on that cruise were probably in their late 50's and up. We did have some families with young children on board. The itinerary was fantastic for all ages.

It was a bit older but mostly retired, of course. Many of us were on for 20 plus days.

What do you think the agerage age of the passengers was? The TA's that we've done on RCCL always had an older crowd.
