Bring things to do onboard. Also bring a light waterproof jacket that can be layered and takenit everywhere (especially to water activities like whale watching) just in case.

We didn't do too many of the activities--especially when they seemed to be selling something. But the comedy acts were top notch--as was the juggling act from Vegas. I recommend dinning in the main dining room every night and getting your buffet fixes for breakfast and lunch.

Don't worry about any inconvenience and just look to have a great time. Enjoy every minute. Takea lots and lots of pictures. Remember, how much you end up enjoying the cruise is really up to you.

Extend the amount of time the elevator doors stay open!!! They close much to quickly making it difficult to grab an elevator if you’re on the opposite end of the row of elevators to the one that is going in the desired direction

A Radiance class ship is the best way to see Alaska. All that glass means wonderful views. Its smaller size allows it to get up close to the Hubbard glacier and hug the shoreline in the Inside Passage. Balcony room recommended.

Check out the little Park Café on Lido Deck in the Solarium. They have quick service and make great sandwiches.

Like a quiet spot to read, but want to be out of your stateroom? Visit the Solarium. There are chairs tucked away in some very peaceful, quiet spots in this "adults only" haven

A great place to eat on the Radiance of the Seas, it took me a day or 2 to find it,it has great ocean views and great food , it is called the Seaview Cafe and best of all there is no extra charge for food
