It was a nice trip, and the crew was amazing. I do believe the ship needs upgrades and improvements. I didn't like the hidden fee at the spa.

Review summary

Loved the family time, celebrated my 50th birthday while on ship, and made a ton of memories. I would however not recommend this particular ship for families. It is more for friends and single passengers. Love the staff, every single person in charge of us was amazing.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We only dined in the main dining rooms, but food and service were excellent.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
The put put was nice, the lack of adequate pools was disappointing. Only one main pool for families and was very small.

Entertainment

did not attend any.

Children's Programs

Did not leave them with anyone.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our dining crew and room staff were amazing. Very kind, friendly, and engaging. 10 out of 5 stars.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
Needs a lot of repairs. My shower head was broken, and a closet door was broken, just to name a few things.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Clean and very comfortable, just needed repairs.

Ship tip

That if you have children, you need a bigger boat.

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida Did not visit port

Just got on and off the boat. Getting off the boat was a nightmare. Very unorganized and we got on at terminal 3, and was left at terminal 6 and was not told until last night of cruise.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

3 out of 5
Was very busy and crowded. Di d the bird excursion and it was well worth the money, but went straight to boat after.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Went to a resort, granddaughter had hair braided, everything was good. The front desk staff at The Allgura were rude and hard to deal with, but the rest of staff and time there was wonderful.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
no one checked our bags; we were left at a different terminal, and it was difficult to find transportation back to vehicle.

Thank you for your honest review. We are traveling on her later this year. Not because of the ship but the area. So its good to know what to expect. Thank you
