Review summary

Overall relaxing cruise with great staff - wouldn't do it any other way other than in a Suite

Embarkation

4 out of 5
As a suite guest nothing special - just lined up with everyone else - but the process was rather quick

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main dining room "Cascade" was OK - wasn't fabulous and wasn't bad. Chops was great and Giovanni's was excellent - the best experience ever. Concierge Club was horrendous - tried multiple times to advise them that lunch menu was disgusting and the same everyday, but nothing was really done about it. Sometimes you would walk in and their was nothing on the buffet at all - seemed they really didn't care and nobody around manning the lounge.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Seems to be plenty of activities onboard to keep most occupied. Played putt putt a few times which was enjoyable

Entertainment

3 out of 5
I've had much better. Was very poor in my opinion.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Overall staff were fantastic and always smiling and willing to help or listen, however, sometimes didn't follow through.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Its an old ship so you can't expect a lot

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Size was amazing with good layout. Don't expect anything amazing when it comes to balcony size. Half the balcony has been reclaimed as part of the bedroom so very very small balcony for a suite room. Bathroom was great size and plenty of storage space.

Ship tip

If your travelling on Radiance just remember its a very old ship so don't expect same service as say Ovation of the Seas.

Ports of call

Sydney, Australia

5 out of 5
Sydney's always great value with heaps of Activities

Noumea, New Caledonia

3 out of 5
Was ok - nothing amazing - basic town - wasn't even worth getting off and walking around - very boring.

Mystery Island, Vanuatu

3 out of 5
basic island - nothing special - nice to get off and go for a walk

Port Vila, Efate, Vanuatu

3 out of 5
basic Island - nothing special

Lifou Isle, New Caledonia

3 out of 5
Basic Island - nothing special - can walk around the island and swim in the beautiful blue waters

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Hectic as always - even being a Suite Guest seems to mean nothing and ended getting myself of the ship - lines and people everywhere - rather chaotic
