Review summary

The Radiance is an older ship, but it's certainly not lacking in class. It was the first time my husband and I had cruised and we found it just the right size for us. The staff are amazing and we couldn't ask for better service. There was so much variety in food and the entertainment was of great quality.

Cabins are great for sleeping. They are smaller than the average hotel room, but its a ship. The decor is a little dated but we weren't in the cabin for long enough during the day.

Thanks - and you make a great point - and one that I wish cruise lines would take to heart. When a ship ages (and they all do) they need to amp up the service, cuisine, and all other on-board services. They need to amp them all the way up. After all the ship has already paid for itself, and if they want to eke out a few more cruises before retrofitting - they need to give passengers PLENTY for their money.
