Review summary

Overall a good experience.  Too many days at sea and bad internet connections.  Good food in specialty restraunts but poor food in main dining room.  Food better in Windjammer than in main dining room.  Pool deck screen needs to show movies during the day not just looped music especially on at sea days.  Port choices were very good but tendering in every port was a nuisance.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Specialty restaurants very good but main dining room left a lot of room for improvement in food quality and variety.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Ship needed updating. Peeling on wooden railings and bubbles in carpeting unsightly.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Pleased with cabin.

Ship tip

Giovanni's Table was the best restaurant. Bingo was fun but expensive. Try giving more of the money to the participants instead of keeping it for the cruise line. Older ship in need of refurbishing.

You know theres always the option of staying on the ship right? I went on this ship a year ago and found tendering fine.

I like sea days, it's a good time to relax after the long nights.

Sea days are the best you don't have to get up early to go off on tours or whatever & there days of relation that's what you go for the ship .

You knew how many sea days there would be when you booked !!

So the tendering at ports, was that something that wasn't advertised when you booked? What was the reason for tendering and where did you sail to?

You have been on prior cruises,  if you do not like sea days why book a cruise with lots of sea days ?

For your next cruise I would suggest you book a ship that is new or recently out of dry dock that has few if any sea days.   I did a 10 night Greek Island cruise that only had one sea day.... even my kid said he wished for more sea days on that cruise.

Maybe you should have driven or flown and stayed in hotels if you dont like sea days.

Ship is going in for a refit this year, you cant expect it to stay "as new" for the whole 5 years of service between refits and she definitely is not OLD

There is a movie theatre if you want to watch movies during the day.

Our dining in Cascades in December was nothing if not spectacular and the service was exemplary.

We cant wait to get back on her..........
