Sensational Service

Sail Date: April 02, 2011

Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Oceanview

Our overall impression of the ship was that it was laid out well and we loved our rooms, two exterior rooms with a connecting door. Some of the drawers were showing signs of wear and tear. Beds and linens were wonderful!

Pros: The service from all staff members on board was exceptional. We were always greeted with friendliness and a sincere desire to help us with whatever we needed. The food was great, the shows were fun, the ship was very nice.

Cons: The pool was tiny! Not nearly enough space for the number of quests on board. Swimming would be impossible. Also, it was hard to find deck chairs. WE felt activities for our kids age 9-11 was somewhat limited.

Recommends Radiance of the Seas? Yes!

Food and Dining
Our servers in the dining room were especially gracious and made our kids feel really special.

We had a good experience at Tequila beach except for the fact that there was one erroneous charge on our credit card. WE are hoping to get that resolved.
Cozumel, Mexico
We did not like the advice given by the ship "shopping expert" to go to the Forum Shops. There was esentially one large upscale jewelry store and a pharmacy here. There was subtle pressure from the shopping expert to go to Diamond's International. This trip to the Forum shops was a waste for us and an expensive cab ride since it was at the far end of the main street shops.
Don't Miss: We thought Paradise Beach was very nice and worth the fees.
