Wow! Amazing!

Sail Date: April 02, 2011

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

The staff really takes care of you and enjoys their jobs. Our waiters Ade, Roderick and Lenon were the best! They remembered our names and likes each day. The ship pool was small and full of people... Better get a spot early.
The adventure ocean was just ok, the time was limited in the afternoon ( ended at 5 pm when some adult activities started). Also, our 9 and 11 yr olds seemed a bit bored ( the teen area might be good).
The " shopping/port info meeting" was a sales job to try to get people to spend their time shopping at a lame store " diamonds international". This built up to be " the" place to shop, they call it the " forum shops" but its realy just a jewelry store ( I didnt think the deals were that great). Luckily we spent the majority of our time at the beaches ( Cozumel, Costa Maya).

Pros: The service

Cons: Greasy food, children's activities time slots for 9, 11 yr were not very good

Recommends Radiance of the Seas? Yes!

The sports area lacked in direction, support staff. The kids pool is for toddlers.
Food and Dining
Except for the main dining, the food was greasy and low quality. Staff were the best and wanted your experience to be great.
Cabin / Stateroom
Needs to be updated.
Service and Staff
The rating says it all!
Children's Programs
Our 9 and 11 yr olds seemed bored. If you want your kids to spend hundreds in tokens for video games and stay inside, you will like it. We would've liked them to do more outside activities as well as use the entire ship...
Ship Quality
Small outside pool, lawn chairs go fast. We had rooms with windows that were joining. We were very comfortable and our kids enjoyed the other room.
Cozumel, Mexico
Don't spend your time shopping ( maybe an hour or two at the most). See the island, it's amazing). People are nice and trying to sell stuff.
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
Activities are great, go thru the cruise for a good one.
