An awesome cruise vacation!

Sail Date: May 29, 2009

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

The Radiance of the Seas was the largest ship we have been on. It was very neat and clean. We really enjoyed the cruise and every port. I would recommend an Alaskan cruise to everyone.

Pros: Beautiful, large ship. Friendly crew.

Cons: Kids would have liked better games in the arcade.

Recommends Radiance of the Seas? Yes!

Entertainment
BeatleMania show was fantastic! Royal Caribbean singers and dancers need some new material.
Ship Quality
Very clean.
Food and Dining
Food was great. Only complaint was the long wait time at the Sea View cafe.
Cabin / Stateroom
Inside cabin was larger than we had expected!
Service and Staff
Very friendly and helpful staff. My son had a problem loaind money on his sea pass for the arcade and the gentleman at the pursers desk was patient and helpful getting the problem resolved.
Skagway, Alaska
Very charming little town. The gold dredge was lame.
Don't Miss: We really liked the trip out to the Yukon suspension bridge.
Ketchikan, Alaska
The totem bight tour wasn't as interesting as we thought it would be. The totem poles are a sight though.
Don't Miss: Get some fresh chocolate candies at Ketchi-Candies!
Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska
Nice shops with Alaska made gifts. Not all the china made junk.

Juneau, Alaska
Juneau has a nice library to check your email without paying the price on the ship.
Don't Miss: Take a tour of the State Capitol its free.
