Review summary
This was our family's third cruise. Overall we had a wonderful time. The ship was beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful. The scenery was spectacular. The food was quite good. Getting on and off the ship was pretty easy. I had read another review which said that waiting for a taxi at Ballentyne Pier was horrible, so we had a car waiting which took us right past a pretty long line! The only cons for us was the dining times. 6pm is too early for dinner, 8:15pm is too late. In addition, I wanted just a glass of wine at dinner, my husband, one mixed drink. This required a wine person and a separate drink person to write up our charges and bring us our drinks. This was in addition to having a waiter and assistant waiter for food. This was so cumbersome, really unsure why it has to be done this way. We took our teenage girls with us. They hung out with us the whole time so cannot comment on the programs for that age group.Ship experiences
