Review summary

We had a great time, one of the more beautifl and diverse ships. Fabulous staff and service! We've cruised a lot and this is a favorite!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Very hard working and friendly food staff, great food and good variety on menu, excellent optional restaurants (for a small fee). Only complaint is that the main dining room was only open for lunch one day (our day at sea) and was closed the days we were in port and so only buffets were an option on those days.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Impressive entertainment with wide variety.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Our child was too young to participate in the activities but our tablemates' children did and had a blast. They participated in ALL the activities and were there daily and wanted to go to the night activities too. The only issue we have (as did most of the parents with children in diapers) was that our child was not allowed in any pools, not even the childrens' pool if they were not potty trained. Our child had on special swim dipers and we were turned away from the kids' pool. We couldn't even let him stand in the water (no deeper than a puddle) and splash his feet.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Many crew mambers made an effort to learn our names and had a photography staff that was excellent. We usually don't buy any photos on cruises but they did an excellent job and we ended up buying many wonderful photos. We actually had fun posing for some of the casual protrait sittings. The whole staff was friendly and wanted you to be happy and went out of their way to help.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Nice variety of public areas, big open areas, small cozy areas tucked away in a quiet corner, many spaces to choose from, each with a different feel. GREAT gym with fabulous 180 degree views from the front of the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a room with a balcony for the first time and it was amazing!

Ports of call

Montego Bay, Jamaica

3 out of 5
Very impoverished island, shopping is so so but the Jamacian people are friendly and warm and wonderful... so glad to have you visit!

Cozumel, Mexico

We've been here many times, the SCUBA diving is great, especially the drift dives.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
We've been here a lot! Great SCUBA diving, great beaches, turtle farm is fun, Stingray City is awesome and best shopping on this particular itinerary

Key West, Florida

5 out of 5
This was our favorite port, lots of history and convenient shopping.

Pros: Great service, friendly crew who made an effort to know your name, great photographers, great public areas, large variety of activities and space (game rooms, bars, restaurants, lounges) there was something for everyone in our family

Cons: Dress code was not enforced in the diningroom, children in diapers not allowed in childrens' pool even with a special swim diaper.
